Using Dental Monitoring, our patients have the ability to have at-home appointments right from their smartphone. This means no more waiting rooms or adjusting schedules for you and the ability for us to be proactive when it comes to monitoring the movement of your teeth.
How does it work?
Our staff will show you everything you need for a successful virtual check-up from the moment you start your Invisalign® treatment and get started with Dental Monitoring. It’s our goal to make your experience as easy and pleasant as possible.
Simply follow these steps:
- Download and sign up for the app
- Follow our timeline for when your regular check-ins will be
- Check the app for reminders
- Snap a few selfies based on our guidelines
- Hit submit to complete your ‘visit’
How do I take photos on the app?
The process for taking a Dental Monitoring “scan” as we call it takes just a few minutes and is as simple as a selfie. During your first appointment, we will determine a schedule for you to take these photos. Using the app on your smartphone, you’ll follow a series of simple guided instructions to complete your check-up. Dr. Schroeder will then review your photos and make any necessary adjustments to keep your treatment progressing smoothly.
When can I get started with Dental Monitoring?
During your initial consultation with our team, we’ll assess your orthodontic goals and let you know if you’re a candidate for our Dental Monitoring program. Since Schroeder Orthodontics is a top 1% Invisalign provider worldwide, our Dental Monitoring pairs perfectly with Invisalign®, and Dr. Schroeder is experienced in these treatment methods.
Appointments only when you need them
When we establish your treatment plan and get you set up on the Dental Monitoring app, we’ll recommend a regular timing for your at-home appointments. These will be logged in the app and you’ll receive reminders to complete the requested photos as your treatment progresses. This allows us to track the movement of your teeth and make any tweaks or revisions as we go. If for any reason we notice something should be adjusted with your treatment, we will reach out to let you know.
